Kory Pearn
Kory Pearn is a professional firefighter, entrepreneur, keynote speaker, author, and the founder of CRACKYL—an award-winning lifestyle magazine built to support the whole firefighter.
After being diagnosed with congestive heart failure in the prime of his firefighting career, Kory was forced to confront the truth so many in the profession silently carry: we take care of everyone else, but often forget to take care of ourselves. At the same time, he lost a close friend to suicide and a mentor to a heart attack shortly after retirement—pivotal losses that became the catalyst for CRACKYL’s creation.
Kory has spent the last five years leading a movement to redefine what strength looks like in the fire service. Through CRACKYL’s 7 pillars—health, lifestyle, fitness, nutrition, finance, relationships, and stress—he’s helping firefighters protect their well-being, stay connected to who they are, and build lives that thrive beyond the badge.
